The "MIT Global Teaching Lab" is an international program which recruits MIT students to participate in teaching activies in other countries.
For the first time, it took place at the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, from January 9 to January 13, 2023, under the name "Polymers of Soccer Summer Camp". It included experiments and workshops with high school students on STEM topics related to materials science and soccer, which called for the participation of six Molecular Sciences' students.
The program has been done in partnership with the Research and Innovation Provost’s Office at USP and Ismart.
