X|Cool is a space I started with some friends where kids and adults learn through art and technology by mixing practices from democratic education and hackerspaces
Because I have too much free time, I facilitate the brazilian Open Science Working Group, organize and tutor courses on technology, sharing and collaboration, collaborate with the ATOPOS new media research group, and administer the Portuguese language Wikiversity
When done with all that, I hang out (at home in bed or) at Garoa Hacker Clube, the hackerspace I'm a member of
I am known for shaping air into pleasurable waveforms, bending myself, bending and moving other people and moving myself along with other people according to pleasurable waveforms, and pretending to be somebody else in some other place and time

Dynamical systems and chaos
Non-equilibrium statistical mechanics
Fundamental physics
Cognitive neuroscience
